How do I install StockMate?

You can install StockMate in two ways:

  • From WordPress.org: Go to Plugins → Add New, search "StockMate", and click Install.
  • Manual upload: Download the plugin ZIP file, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, and activate.

Does StockMate work with any WordPress theme?

Yes! StockMate works with any WordPress theme that is WooCommerce compatible. The form automatically appears on out-of-stock product pages.

Do I need to configure anything after installation?

Basic setup is automatic! The form appears immediately on out-of-stock products. For email delivery, we recommend configuring SMTP settings (StockMate → SMTP Settings) to ensure notifications reach customers.

How are emails sent?

StockMate uses WordPress's wp_mail() function by default. For better deliverability, you can configure SMTP settings directly in the plugin (supports Gmail, Outlook, SendGrid, and any custom SMTP server).

Where is subscriber data stored?

All subscriber data is stored securely in your own WordPress database. We don't store any customer data on our servers.

Does StockMate work with caching plugins?

Yes! StockMate is fully compatible with popular caching plugins like WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, and LiteSpeed Cache. The AJAX form works seamlessly with caching enabled.

Is StockMate translation ready?

Yes! StockMate is fully internationalized and works with WPML, Polylang, and other translation plugins. You can translate all front-end text easily.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

The Free version includes all core features: AJAX subscription, waiting count display, admin dashboard, and basic email notifications. Pro adds WhatsApp notifications, Telegram alerts, custom email templates, advanced reports, and priority support.

Can I upgrade from Free to Pro?

Absolutely! All your existing subscribers and settings will be preserved when you upgrade. Just purchase the Pro license and activate it on your site.

What is your refund policy?

Can I use one license on multiple sites?

Emails are going to spam. How can I fix this?

To improve email deliverability:

  • Configure SMTP settings with your email provider
  • Set up SPF and DKIM records for your domain
  • Use a professional email address (not Gmail for sending)
  • Test with our built-in email tester

The form isn't showing on my product page

First, make sure the product is actually out of stock. The form only appears when stock status is "Out of Stock". If it's still not showing, check that your theme has the woocommerce_single_product_summary hook (most themes do).

Subscribers aren't getting notified when products are restocked

Check that:

  • SMTP is properly configured (send a test email)
  • The product stock status was updated correctly
  • Check your spam folder for notifications
  • Verify that subscribers have pending status in the dashboard

How do I customize the form appearance?

You can customize colors and text from StockMate → Settings. For advanced styling, you can add custom CSS in the WordPress Customizer or your theme's CSS file. All form elements have unique CSS classes for easy styling.
